Session Descriptions

Traveler's Welcome - A brief session at the hotel to welcome the out of town travelers to NARCON. Just some basic friendship and maybe a suggestion or two as to where you can pick up those sundries and a bite to eat.

Setup and Early Bird Get Together - The venue is open for vendor and event last minute setups. You can just come and hang with the in crowd. However, be warned, we can put you to work.

Formal Welcome - The official beginning of NARCON 2009. After a few mercifully short remarks by the event director and a welcome respite by the NAR president. NARCON2009 will be off and running.

Safety Briefing - The NAR Safety Committee will bring you up to date on the latest developments in safety and how things shape up to date. Topics in improving safety may be included.

Standards and Testing - A discussion of how motors are tested and certified. Also included may be a discussion on the decertified motor use up program.

TARC Update - A historical journey and discussion of the future of the Team America Rocket Challenge - Presented by Ted Cochran, NAR Trustee and National Events Director.

Town Meeting - This is the high point of NARCON when Trip Barber, your national organization president will open up to a candid discussion of how the organization works and answer your questions. The drawing for the grand prize drawings (you must be present to win) will take place at this session.

NAR Level 2 Exam - Ever had to chase down that pesky L2 exam on the field? Well you can take it indoors at NARCON and be ready for the next year.

Farewell Gathering - Time to say goodbye. And if you have no place else to go, please feel free to stay and help close up. Those who stay to help will be able to sample some of what is considered by many the best pizza in the world (Frank Pepe). We will also be holding drawings for any unclaimed door prizes.
