CATO 24 Launch Report - Jan. 9, 2000
Clarks Falls

Welcome to the new Millennium!  Today's weather was not bad at all, for January.  Temps in the 40s, sunny with no clouds.  The ground turned from frozen mud to unfrozen mud early in the day.  Wind was moderate at ground level, but several folks had problems with upper level winds.  A smaller than usual crowd showed up, but they were rewarded with short lines and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

Hey! It's a ferret!  And it likes rockets! Does it qualify as a "vertebrate animal"? (sigh, yes)
