CATO 8 Launch Report

Sunday November 1, 1998
Clarks Falls, CT

Whoa, who ordered this wind?!? Well, we're legal for a launch (barely) with winds in the 15 to 20 mph range all day. Let's look on the bright side: at least it's cold and cloudy! What a wonderful day for the pumpkin lofting parachute duration contest!

Some flight stats and highlights: My intrepretation of these stats is that even though we had more rocketeers than last launch, they were afraid to fly all their rockets in the high winds, and they spend a lot of time chasing the ones that they did fly.
