VIPERFEST!

So it seems CATO now has something to be famous for....The Viperfest! For those of you who are still uneducated, the Viperfest is a periodic drag race of Loc-Precision Viper IV cluster birds. The basic rules are  four D12 black powder motors and we determine the winner by arguing over who was first off the pad. However there are several other criteria which are all about as scientific and repeatable as picking a winning lottery number.

There are no prizes, just bragging rights.

Honorable Mentions Include::

  • Fewest number of motors lit
  • Last place
  • Closest to the pad
  • Best example of a tangled recovery system
  • Snake in a tree
  • McConnell Flaming Rocket on a Stick Trophy
